Ajo Babies
Unfortunately in this day and age homeless animals are part of the norm. When a stray animal arrives at the clinic they become an Ajo Baby. Happy stories like the ones below make it all worthwhile. Below are stories of animals that have become part of the Ajo family: our Ajo Babies.

Please note that Ajo Veterinary Clinic is not an adoption agency, therefore, animals cannot be dropped off so a home can be found. Ajo Veterinary Clinic fully supports the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Control in their efforts to place animals in loving homes.

All donations received by our clinic are used toward the spaying, neutering, and medical expenses of the Ajo Babies. If you are interested in adoption or donating, please check with the clinic.

Through the joint efforts of staff and clients, Ajo babies that find their way to our door find their way into caring homes.

Some of our Ajo Baby stories . . . .

Mr. OrangeMr. Orange
He was a feral kitten adopted into a loving home. He is very shy but loves his new home.

Cassie and Shorty
Both dogs were found in our parking lot. After no luck finding their previous owners, one of our technicians adopted them both.

OreoSnowball (aka Oreo)
Originally an Ajo Puppy, she was later returned when her new family could no longer care for her. Recently a new family adopted her, where she shares the house with three other dogs and is well loved.

Flea and Scooby
Both were here at Ajo up for adoption, and have since found a home with one of our technicians. They get along great with the other animals in the house and have made a wonderful addition to the family.

JaneyJaney
A young family that was unable to care for her donated her to us. She spent several months here looking for the right home and eventually was adopted by a new family.

TabithaTabitha
Part of a litter brought in to us, she was deaf, very vocal, and very loving. She found a new home that had recently lost their deaf cat of many years.
